Recommended burning and embossing temperature
Basic values we put in a visual table:
Type of work | Temperature, °С | Exposure time, с | Result |
---|---|---|---|
Foil stamping on paper | 100 | 1 | |
Hot stamping paper | 300 | 1 | |
Foil stamping on leather | 100 | 1 | |
Hot stamping leather | 180 | 3 | |
Burning on a tree | 350 | 3 | |
Burning on a bun | 320 | 3 | |
Burning on a pallets | 450 | 2 | |
Burning on a plastic | 135 | 3 |
At the same time there are some features:
1. The quality of the print depends on the design of the heater for the stamps. The burner with temperature controller allows you to get a more stable result by compared to a manual heater equipped with a thermostat . & nbsp;
2. Parallelism of surfaces. The working surface of the stamp in most cases is ideally flat, which cannot be said about the materials on which the burning is performed. You should strive for maximum contact with the workpiece or product.
3. The pressing time is most often determined empirically. For example, if the burning temperature on a tree is often chosen to be 350 degrees, then the burning time will depend on the species, humidity and structure of the wood.
